Do you know? Built on the site of the historic Baiyi Temple from the Ming Dynasty, the Lanzhou Municipal Museum boasts its cultural relics on entrance gate.

“蘭小五”門獅就是蘭州市博物館大門的“神獸”,，名為“狻猊”，距今已有270多年的歷史,。

Lan Xiaowu, the divine gate beast of Lanzhou Municipal Museum, known as "Suanni," has a history of over 270 years. 

龍生九子,，“狻猊”排行第五，所以大家親切地叫它為“蘭小五”,。

Among the Nine Sons of the Dragon in Chinese mythology, Suanni is the fifth, hence the affectionate nickname "Lan Xiaowu."

“蘭小五”設計在保留“狻猊”威嚴尊貴的特點的同時,，又加入了俏皮呆萌的眼睛特征。象征著納福,、吉慶等美好愿望,。

While retaining the majestic and dignified characteristics of Suanni, "Lan Xiaowu" with a pair of lovely eyes symbolizes people' s yearning for blessing and good fortune.

同時，“蘭小五”還有隱藏設計：AR實物識別系統(tǒng),。

Moreover, "Lan Xiaowu"  has another surprising design: the AR object recognition system.

憨態(tài)可掬的模樣,、喜慶美好的寓意，初出茅廬的“蘭小五”,，已成為了蘭州本土博物館文創(chuàng)中的新晉頂流,。

With its cute looks and festive implication, "Lan Xiaowu" has risen to become a top favorite among local museum creatives in Lanzhou.
